Debby Ryan shows off an edgier side of herself on the September 2012 cover of Cliche magazine.
The 19-year-old actress opened up about getting into entertainment with the mag.
“Comedy is such a culture,” Debby shared. “I
thought: I could do that. I actually wanted to start with drama. I did
so much theatre when I was younger. I remember hiding in the curtain in —
between scenes — and watching.”
She added about her current role as the title character on Disney Channel’s Jessie:
“Jessie’s much braver than I am. It takes a certain kind of person who
will pick up and move [alone]. [Also] being a strong woman — girls who
can fight for themselves.”
