"Shake It Up" Wraps Production Of Season 3

Disney Channel's Shake It Up has completed production on its third season. Zendaya took to twitter on her official twitter page (@Zendaya) to announce the news with some behind the scenes photos. She tweeted:

Bella Thorne Says The Shake It Up Season 3 Soundtrack Is A Little More "Edgy" and "Older"

Bella Thorne stopped to visit PopStop TV while at DoSomething.org and Aeropostale’s 6^th Annual “Teens for Jeans” Kick-Off Party this past Tuesday (January 8, 2013).

Miss Bella talked about donating jeans, about her upcoming music and the “Shake It Up” season 3 soundtrack that will be released this spring. Bella said that it is a little more “edgy” and “older” as their characters are growing up!

– Popular Winter Programming Event includes New Episodes of
“Phineas and Ferb” and Music-Filled One-Hour Crossover of

Disney Channel, the #1 cable channel in Total Viewers, Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens, will present its second annual Fa-la-la-lidays programming event beginning Friday, November 23 with new holiday themed-episodes premiering SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2. This year’s event is highlighted by the season four premiere of “Phineas and Ferb” guest starring NHL superstar Luc Robitaille and a special New Years Eve-themed episode of the animated hit series, plus a music-filled crossover episode of “Jessie” and “Austin & Ally,” featuring a duet by Jessie (Debby Ryan) and Austin (Ross Lynch), and a Santa-themed episode of the popular comedy “Good Luck Charlie” that includes a duet by Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) and Spencer (Shane Harper) and guest stars Shirley Jones. New holiday-themed episodes of “Dog With A Blog” and “Shake It Up,” featuring Zendaya performing a new holiday song, will also be presented along with festive movies including “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause,” Disney’s “A Christmas Carol” and the Disney Channel premiere of “Secret of the Wings.”

Walt Disney Records’ Disney Channel Holiday Playlist, an album of holiday classics and original songs performed by stars from hit Disney Channel series and original movies, is now available wherever music is sold. Radio Disney will celebrate Fa-la-la-lidays with holiday-themed music featuring songs from Disney Channel Holiday Playlist beginning November 23 and Radio Disney stations in 31 markets will host events throughout November and December with holiday-themed interactive entertainment, music and prizes.

DisneyChannel.com will debut two new holiday games based on “Phineas and Ferb” and “Austin & Ally”/”Jessie” and a special holiday edition of the “Gravity Falls” fan-favorite “Mabel’s Sweater Creator,” plus a daily holiday “gift” including exclusive downloads and printable crafts. Full length holiday episodes of hit Disney Channel series will also be available.

Highlights from Disney Channel’s Fa-la-la-lidays (all times ET/PT) are:

SUNDAY, December 2

7:30 p.m. – “Good Luck Charlie”
“A Duncan Christmas” – Teddy takes Charlie to see Santa Claus at Super Adventure Land, but when Santa decides to take a break right when it’s Charlie’s turn, Teddy takes matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Amy and Grandma Linda learn they are performing the same song at the family talent show. Shirley Jones reprises her role as Grandma Linda. Teddy and Spencer (played by actors and recording artists Bridgit Mendler and Shane Harper) perform the duet “My Song For You” in the episode.

8:00 p.m. – “Dog With A Blog”
“Bark! The Herald Angels Sing” – It’s the family’s first Christmas together and Avery is prepping Tyler, Chloe and Stan for what will likely be their worst Christmas gifts ever – from their new stepmother Ellen who gives terrible gifts. Meanwhile, Bennett and Ellen try to decide whose Christmas traditions to follow.

8:30 p.m. – “Shake It Up”
“Merry Merry It Up” – CeCe picks a fight with Jeremy, leading Georgia to break up with him. To fix the situation, Rocky takes a turn as the ghost of Christmas dance and escorts CeCe on a dream journey to the past, present and future.  Zendaya performs the new song “Shake Santa Shake” in the episode.

Friday, December 7

8:00 p.m. – “Austin & Ally”/”Jessie”      
“Austin & JESSIE & Ally All Star New Year” – Austin, Ally, Trish and Dez travel to Times Square where Austin is booked to perform on New Year’s Eve. When they can’t get through New York City’s crowded streets, Jessie comes up with a plan to get them to the stage and to ultimately have Austin record one of her songs. Three songs are performed in the hour-long episode: ”Face to Face,” a duet by Austin (Ross Lynch) and Jessie (Debby Ryan), and “Christmas Soul” and “Can You Feel It” by Austin.

Exclusive: New Phineas and Ferb, Good Luck Charlie Episodes Lead Disney's Holiday Fare

You must’ve been good, because Santa Mickey’s about to dole out some nice new presents.

A new Phineas and Ferb, as well as fresh episodes of other Disney Channel favorites, will fill the premium cabler’s holiday schedule, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Phineas and Ferb ’s Season 4 premiere (debuting Dec. 7 at 9/8c) will find National Hockey League star Luc Robataille offering his assistance when the brothers take an ice hockey game to the extreme. Later, Phineas and Ferb plan their own New Year’s Eve ball drop, and Candace tries to keep an incredibly tough resolution: not to bust the boys before midnight.

Other highlights from the network’s “Fa-la-la-lidays” event include:

GOOD LUCK CHARLIE | (Dec. 2, 7:30 pm) Teddy takes charge when Santa goes on a break just before Charlie’s about to sit in his lap, and Shirley Jones reprises her role as Grandma Linda – who’s planning to sing the same song as Amy at the family talent show.

PAIR OF KINGS | (7:30 pm) Boomer attempts to teach some Yetis how to be civilized. 

KICKIN’ IT | (8 pm) After getting labeled as “the kids who stole Christmas,” Jack, Jerry and Milton get banned from working at Santa’s Village and work to prove their innocence.

The third season of the dance-driven, buddy comedy "Shake It Up," the #1 live-action TV series in its time period to date among Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11, will premiere SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The new season finds Rocky and CeCe trying to keep their dance careers alive after the "Shake It Up Chicago" set is ruined; and includes guest stars Tyra Banks, reprising her role as the librarian, Alfonso Ribeiro and Disney XD's Leo Howard; and a special performance by the grand-prize winner of "Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off 2012," Disney's popular talent competition exclusively for kids and tweens.

Shake It Up is set for its season-3 debut this weekend and we've got a special clip to share with you fans. To bring you up to speed on the Disney Channel show, the premiere episode is titled Fire It Up and it all goes down after a fire destroyed the Shake It Up, Chicago set... in fact, CeCe is so incredibly worried that she might be to blame, possibly leaving her curling iron on, so she's got to decide if she's going to tell the detective, who just so happens to be dating her mom. Plus, in this exclusive image to ClevverTV, we get to see that Tinka is trying to become BFFs with Rocky and CeCE since Gunther returns home and she's flying solo. And now, here's a cool clip from season-3!

This weekend, IM5 and Bella Thorne performed a live, FREE show at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles.  The music was loud and the crowd was huge!  It was a night that we’ll never forget, and the best part?  We got to chat with all of the performers before the show!

It’s always a pleasure to chat with Bella.  She was super excited to be performing for her crowds of fans, and we loved seeing her up on stage with IM5.  So what did the ‘Shake It Up’ star have to say about Friday’s event and her upcoming projects?


Fanlala: This event is wrapping up the summer, tell us about what’s happening at CityWalk!

Bella Thorne: I go to CityWalk all the time with my friends, I love coming here.  And I’m always thinking “I wonder if I could perform on stage.”  And tonight I get to, this is awesome.  It’s my first time on the CityWalk stage.  I get to do my song with IM5, and it’s just really sweet.  The band themselves are just really sweet.

F: What do you like most about performing with IM5?

BT: I’m always working on my voice, practicing behind-the-scenes on singing.  And every time I nail it, they’re just like “YES Bella! Yeah!”  They really encourage me big time when I go onstage, and that really helps.  This is our second time performing together, and I really like working with them.

F: What was it like going on stage with IM5 after the Teen Choice Awards?

BT: That was super cool, and I had all my friends there. And that’s what really helped during that set.  I was glad to have their support, and in the end support is what you really need.

F: Earlier this week, we saw you in studio.  Are there any upcoming songs that you can tell your fans about?

BT: I’m really excited.  I recorded a Christmas song, I recorded another song, also.  I’m also talking to a record company, so I really like that.  You guys, there are a lot of things coming.

F: After the huge success of ‘Made In Japan’ we want to know what’s in store for ‘Shake It Up’ in the future.

BT: This season is pretty awesome, I learned so much about my family, and I’m really close to my family, we’re really close-knit.  To be part of a show that’s made for families is really good for me.
This season you guys can expect some huge changes.  It’s really gonna shock everyone.  And we know our fans are just gonna be like “What?? What?!” but in a really good way.  We’re going to have really relatable situations, so there’s a lot to look forward to in the next season. 

F: We know you’re actually an ambassador for Disney Channel’s Friends for Change, what have you been working on with them lately?

BT: We’re very much into anti-bullying and the anti-bullying campaign.  I enjoying being a part of the cause, and really getting the word out.  Standing up against bullying is my expertise, and it’s something that’s very near and dear to me.

Disney Channel’s Hit Comedy ‘Shake It Up’ Renewed For Third Season (June 2012)

Disney Channel has ordered a third season of hit dance-driven buddy comedy Shake It Up. Following its premiere in November 2010, Shake It Up ranked as the No. 1 series of 2011 among tweens 9-14, and for second quarter 2012-to-date, it is the No. 1 TV series among kids 2-11 (2.0 million/4.9 rating) and kids 6-11 (1.6 million/6.7 rating). The series inspired Disney Channel’s first-ever talent competition for kids and tweens, Make Your Mark: Ultimate Dance Off – Shake It Up Edition, a successful soundtrack and merchandizing line.

Shake It Up, executive produced by Rob Lotterstein and Eileen Conn, stars Zendaya and Bella Thorne as best friends Rocky Blue and CeCe Jones, who are living their dreams as dancers on the hit show Shake It Up, Chicago! New episodes air Sunday at 8:30 PM. Coming this summer is Shake It Up: Made In Japan, a 90-minute special in which the gang will head to Tokyo after Rocky and CeCe win a chance to star in a dance video game. A sneak peek of the special will air during the Disney Channel original movie Let It Shine on June 15.
