Cast of "JESSIE" Rumoured to Make a Guest Appearance on "Good Luck Charlie"

 Although it has not officially been announced, it is rumoured that numerous cast members from the Disney Channel series "JESSIE" will make an appearance on the final season of Good Luck Charlie. Skai Jackson who plays the role of Zuri on the show JESSIE tweeted the following picture on her official twitter page (@OfficialSkai), which shows her dressing room door on the set of Good Luck Charlie.

In the “A.N.T. Farm” episode “animal husbANTry,” (8:00 – 8:30 p.m. ET/PT), Chyna (McClain) takes care of her fellow prodigy’s animals and gets in over her head. Meanwhile, Chris Rock, guest starring as himself, shows up eager to adopt a special pet for his daughter.

Disney Channel Pulls the JESSIE Episode: “Quitting Cold Koala” From It's Schedule

Disney Channel has pulled last nights (May 17) new episode of JESSIE titled “Quitting Cold Koala” over “references to gluten restrictions in the character’s diet”, according to a post on the channel’s official Facebook page. The full message reads:

To our viewers, we received your feedback about tonight’s “Jessie” episode which some of you accessed early on Video-on-Demand. We are removing this particular episode from our regular programming schedule and will re-evaluate its references to gluten restrictions in the character’s diet. We love all of the characters on Disney Channel’s hit show Jessie, so we were super pumped when we got the chance to have Karan Brar, who plays Ravi, answer a few questions. Check out our EXCLUSIVE Q&A with Karan below!

BOP&TB: Tell us a little bit about your character, Ravi, on Jessie.
Karan Brar: Ravi came to America about a year ago, so he has his own way of living and his own style. Since he didn’t grow up on the U.S., he acts completely different than every one else and as everyone can see, Ravi is one of those people that isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

BOP&TB: What do you enjoy most about playing Ravi?
Karan Brar: What I enjoy most about playing Ravi is that he is always doing wacky, goofy things!

BOP&TB: How are you similar or different from your character in real life?
Karan Brar: We are similar cause we aren’t afraid to be ourselves around others, and we are different because I don’t freak out as much as Ravi does in bad situations!

BOP&TB: Is it difficult for you to have to change your accent on the show?
Karan Brar: It’s actually not that hard. The hard part was learning the accent!

BOP&TB: What is it like working with all of the animals on set (lizards, bunnies)?
Karan Brar: Working with the lizard, Frank, is SO cool! But it’s a little scary since he has razor sharp teeth!

BOP&TB: What are some pranks you guys pull on each other on set?
Karan Brar: We pull all sorts of pranks! Sometimes we record each other doing the chicken dance behind someone when they are not paying attention. It’s SO much fun!

BOP&TB: What is it like having Debby Ryan as your nanny on the show?
Karan Brar: It’s really cool! Off set, Debby is like a sister to us, and when she plays our nanny on the show it’s really fun too!

BOP&TB: What do you and the rest of the cast do outside of filming together?
Karan Brar: We do all sorts of stuff! Sometimes we go laser tagging or to an amusement park.

BOP&TB: What are some there any funny/crazy stories that you and the cast have together?
Karan Brar: One time Debby, Cameron and I were dressed as zombies for an episode, and Debby had recently gifted us with a marshmallow blaster, so we went to the set of A.N.T. Farm to scare China and the rest of the A.N.T. Farm cast! We pelted them with marshmallows, but at the end we had to clean it all up!

BOP&TB: What is one of your favorite memories from being on Jessie?
Karan Brar: One of my favorite memories from Jessie is when Cameron and I were supposed to be freezing cold, so hair and makeup put fake ice crystals on our faces and in our hair, it was really cool!

BOP&TB: If you could choose someone to guest star on Jessie, who would it be? Why?
I think it would be cool for Selena Gomez to guest star in an episode because we know Ravi has a crush on her!

When they learn they’re stuck that way for 24 hours, or until they learn a lesson, they realize Flynn will have to dance for CeCe on “Shake It Up Chicago!” and CeCe will have to learn tuba and nail Flynn’s audition for the marching band. Meanwhile, Ty thinks Rocky is trying to kill him since he didn’t put her in that week’s dance.

Guest Star in the Season Two Finale –

Jessie and the Ross kids will return for a third season in the popular comedy series for kids and families "Jessie," it was announced today by Adam Bonnett, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. Production resumes in Los Angeles in July. Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in fall 2013.

2013 to-date, "Jessie" is TV's #1 series in its time period among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens. For 2012, it was the #2 TV series among Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11 and #3 among Tweens. 


Bonnett said, “Season 3 of ‘Jessie’ will continue to spotlight the impressive comedic talents of Debby Ryan.” He continued, “Our viewers deeply connect with this cast of characters, and the upcoming season will focus on the Ross kids beginning to navigate young adulthood while challenging their favorite nanny with new and entertaining situations.”

In the season two finale airing this September, Molly Shannon (“Saturday Night Live”) guest stars as Jessie’s stepmother-to-be. The storyline finds an excited Jessie returning to Texas with the Ross kids in tow. She shows the kids the military base where she was raised and introduces them to her father — only to learn the surprising news that he is engaged to be married. Also guest starring are James Patrick Stuart (“Supernatural”) as Jessie’s dad, Lt. Colonel John Wayne “J.W.” Prescott and Kate Flannery (“The Office”) as Corporal Cookie.

Set in bustling New York City, Jessie is a nanny for the high-profile Ross Family– 14-year-old Emma, the biological child of the bunch, 11-year-old Indian adoptee Ravi, 12-year-old American adoptee Luke and eight-year-old African adoptee Zuri. Helping her to navigate young-adulthood are Bertram, the family’s beloved, yet frosty butler, and Tony, her boyfriend and the building’s doorman.

Starring are Debby Ryan as Jessie (“The Suite Life on Deck”); Kevin Chamberlin (Broadway’s “The Addams Family,” “Teen Beach Movie”) as Bertram; Peyton List (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days”) as Emma; Karan Brar (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid”) as Ravi; Cameron Boyce (“Grown Ups 2″) as Luke and Skai Jackson (“Royal Pains”) as Zuri.

The live-action comedy series was created by Pamela Eells O’Connell (“Family Matters,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “The Suite Life on Deck”), who serves as executive producer. Debby Ryan is a co-producer.

Meet the Disney Channel's Newest Golden Girl, Debby Ryan

Debby Ryan may not be a household name right now, but you can bet she will be in a year.

The vivacious 19-year-old is the Disney Channel's newest golden girl, with hit movies, music and her own TV show. Ryan stars on the wildly popular 'tween sitcom "Jessie," in which she plays a young girl from Texas who moves to New York City to chase her dreams in the entertainment industry and ends up becoming a nanny for four children.

But unlike Disney starlets who came before her, Ryan tries to keep her distance from the tabloid spotlight. On a Friday night, you'll find her at home with her makeup off, jamming out with her band and eating Taco Bell (she's a big fan of the Doritos Locos taco), not hitting a nightclub.

"I leave Debby Ryan at work the same way I leave the script at work," she told ABCNews.com. "I go home and watch people falling off of ATVs on 'Ridiculousness' on MTV."

Ryan doesn't play into the "crazy," as she calls it. She gets uncomfortable in front of large groups of people screaming her name and taking her picture, making red carpet events "stressful." The young star also credits her strong self awareness and tight group of loyal family and friends for helping her keep a level head.

"You need to have people who are not afraid to fight you," she said. "You need to fight yourself in order to be the person you ultimately want to be one day."

Ryan also has an insane amount of determination. She got her first major acting gig on "Barney & Friends" before scoring the role of Bailey on Disney's "The Suite Life on Deck." Now she hopes to transition into more adult roles, including indie films and maybe even some screenwriting.

But climbing trees with her brother Chase while growing up gave Ryan a love of adventure and a desire to do action films like "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" or "Colombiana."

But at the end of the day, Ryan said, she loves making people laugh and any episode of "Jessie" shows her comedic timing, which rivals that of Lucille Ball, one of her idols. She also has the red hair to go with it.

"I would love to have the career of an Emma Stone/Sandra Bullock, a little bit kick butt but also artistic with blockbusters and features," she said. "I love variety and that's the fun part of being an actor. I don't understand the people who play the same character over and over."

Unlike Stone and Bullock, Ryan's career will also most likely be filled with music. She has recorded songs for "Jessie," "Suite Life" and her 2012 Disney Channel movie, "Radio Rebel," and in her spare time she loves to write original songs, a process she says gives her butterflies.

"I always joke that acting is my spouse and singing is like my lover," she said. "I go every day and act and it feels very fulfilling for me and it's definitely a part of me and then there's a secret rush behind closed doors with my music."

No matter what Ryan's future holds, she has big plans for it. And if you ever see her at the Oscars, plan on her pulling a Jennifer Lawrence in front of her Hollywood crush when she goes up to accept her Best Actress statue.

"When I'm at the Oscars I will be definitely be throwing myself on the stairs in front of Hugh Jackman," she said.

"JESSIE" Films It's Last Episode Of The Season

Disney Channel's JESSIE filmed it's last episode of the season (season 2) on March 8, 2013. Cast member Peyton List, posted a photo of her and the cast on her official Instagram account (March 9, 2013) with the message:

Had so much fun at the last #Jessie live taping of the season last night! 💜🎉😿

Additionally, a fan of the show, (twitter user @alexirob), who went to the live taping which took place on March 8, 2013, posted on her Instagram account a behind the scenes photo of a signed script of the final episode (episode 26) titled "Diary of a Mad Newswoman" 

Disney Channel's Friday Premiere Ratings - JESSIE

Disney Channel's Friday night episode premiere of the JESSIE episode titled "Pain in the Rear Window" gained 3.214 million viewers, which aired at 8.30pm.
In the episode Jessie is in charge of a carnival to help raise funds for the school. In an attempt to help bring in more money, Luke decides to show Jessie some dance moves but ends up injuring his knee. While everyone is out enjoying the carnival, Luke is home alone and bored, so he uses binoculars to spy on the carnival from a terrace and becomes concerned when he witnesses a suspicious act.

Oscar Nominee Quvenzhané Wallis Visits The “JESSIE” Set

While Quvenzhane Wallis might not have taken the Oscar for Best Actress home last night (it went to Jennifer Lawrence), she did have one of her dreams come true!

The adorable 9-year-old has shared multiple times in interviews that she’s a huge fan of Disney stars like China Anne McClain, Demi Lovato, and Debby Ryan and last night during E!’s pre-show, Ryan Seacrest played her a special message from Debby wishing her good luck and inviting her to the set.

It looks like Quvenzhané accepted the offer and headed to the Hollywood set of “Jessie” today! Cameron Boyce’s dad, Victor, tweeted out a few pictures of Debby, Cameron and Karan Brar hanging out with Quvenzhané on set. So cute!

Powered by all-new episodes of “Jessie,” (one hour) and animated hits “Gravity Falls,” “Phineas and Ferb” and “Fish Hooks,” Disney Channel ranked as Friday’s #1 TV network in Kids 2-11 (1.05 million/2.7 rating), Kids 6-11 (679,000/2.9 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (562,000/2.4 rating) and cable TV’s #1 network in Total Viewers (1.84 million).

Rising to season highs, “Jessie” delivered its best ratings in nearly six months (since 8/24/12), ranking as Friday’s #1 scripted cable TV telecast in Total Viewers (3.95 million), and TV’s #1 telecast in Kids 2-11 (2.25 million/5.7 rating), Kids 6-11 (1.79 million/7.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.58 million/6.6 rating).  The episode guest starred Maia Mitchell of Disney Channel's upcoming “Teen Beach Movie.”

Overall, Disney Channel delivered cable TV’s Top 2 scripted telecasts in Total Viewers, and in key youth demos held TV’s Top 4 telecasts in Kids 2-11, Top 11 in Kids 6-11  and Top 16 in Tweens 9-14.

Disney teen stars to visit North Point Mall in Alpharetta Feb. 23

ALPHARETTA — Three teen stars from Nickelodeon and Disney's hottest television shows will visit North Point Mall on Feb. 23 and Perimeter Mall on Feb. 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to promote Visit Myrtle Beach.

Noah Munck, stars as Gibby on Nickelodeon's "iCarly," Calum Worthy, stars as Dez on Disney's "Austin & Ally," and Peyton List, stars as Emma on Disney's "Jessie," will headline the event promoting Myrtle Beach as the ultimate vacation destination.

North Point Mall is located 1000 North Point Circle in Alpharetta.

Munck, Worthy and List will engage with fans by signing autographs and taking pictures. Additional on-site entertainment includes face painting, a live DJ and fun, festive giveaways throughout the day.
