Girl Meets World which begins shooting TODAY picks up where "Boy Meets World" left off. Riley
Mathews, the preteen daughter of Cory and Topanga who married on the
original series, tells the story from her point of view. Riley attends a
school where hew father is also one of her teachers, and her brother is
one grade above her - and often reminds her that he is also one grade
higher in life's experiences. If opposites attract, then Riley's
relationship with her best friend Maya is a perfect example. Riley is a
happy, optimistic, cheery, and high spirited 13 year old girl with great
parents - while Maya is a not-so-trusting pessimistic girl who has
never met her father. Regardless, the two are immensely loyal to each
other as friends.
