Entertainment’s brightest young stars among kids and tweens are scheduled to present at the Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMAs), a celebration of music’s most popular young artists on Saturday, April 27 at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. Selena Gomez, Bridgit Mendler (“Good Luck Charlie”), Denise Richards (“Twisted”), R&B artist Jason Derulo, Jessica Sanchez (“American Idol”), NASCAR Daytona 500 Champion Trevor Bayne, Zendaya (“Shake It Up,” “Dancing with the Stars”) and Bella Thorne (“Shake It Up”) are among the presenters, and Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato and Ryan Seacrest will make special appearances.

Disney's Austin & Ally stars Calum Worthy and Laura Marano Interview with Actresses Mikayla and Shayna Chapman at Taylor Hay's "Star For A Night Celebration" charity event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In the interview Laura Marano talks about the upcoming JESSIE and Austin & Ally cross over episode and what it was like working with Debby Ryan.

In the crossover episode, which airs December 7,  Austin, Ally, Trish and Dez have trouble getting through New York’s crowded Times Square on New Year’s Eve, but Jessie comes up with a plan to get them to the stage in time to see Austin perform — and ultimately have him record one of her songs, natch. Bonus: The episode includes a duet by Debby Ryan and Ross Lynch.

Laura Marano Talks Austin & Ally Season 2 (U.K Interview)

During Laura Marano's UK visit, she sat down with ITN (Independent Television News - a British-based news and content provider) to talk about Austin & Ally which has begun airing in the USA very soon. The Austin & Ally soundtrack releases on the 29th October in the U.K.

One of the stars of Disney's Austin & Ally, Laura Marano, has been telling us what is in store on the show.

Season two has just begun in the States and we are told to expect exciting storylines alongside some added non-human characters.

"We have a lot of animals - fun, and there's going to be a romantic arc between some of the characters," Marano, who plays Ally, said.

The show airs weekly on the Disney Channel in the UK and the Austin & Ally soundtrack album is out October 29.

Laura explained: "I'm excited for the kids to sing... with their British accents - and I think it'll just elevate it."         

Radio Disney's "N.B.T." Kickoff Concert in Hollywood (With Laura Marano)

Season 5 of Radio Disney’s multiplatform competition show N.B.T.  is already underway and in about a week, it’ll be time to start the voting on the latest set of contestants. The kick-off concert last weekend brought out not only Disney TV stars like Bella Thorne and Zendaya  (Shake it Up) and Kelli Berglund and Billy Unger (Lab Rats), but also past N.B.T. artists Shealeigh and Coco Jones, who performed along with this season’s five new contestants and R5. Take a look at this exclusive behind-the-scenes video hosted by Austin & Ally‘s Laura Marano.

Over 10 weeks, N.B.T.'s aspiring young recording artists get to showcase their music across national broadcast and online platforms. Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences will get to check them out and vote for their favorite artist through RadioDisney.com, Radio Disney Facebook page and Twitter, or by text.  The winner will perform on Austin & Ally and have a new single released by Disney Music Group.
Voting begins on 10/26 at 7pmET/4pmPT.
Here's a quick rundown of the competing season 5 artists:

• Chloe and Halle Bailey:  14-year-old and 12-year-old (respectively) sister pop singers and actresses from Atlanta, Georgia.
• Katherine Hughes: 17-year-old acoustic pop singer and actress from New York, New York.
• Damian Otchere: 16-year-old pop and R&B singer, dancer and actor originally from Brooklyn, New York, currently residing in East Orange, New Jersey.
• Jack Skuller: 16-year-old modern rock and pop singer, and songwriter from Hoboken, New Jersey.
• Elle Winter: 13-year-old pop singer, songwriter and actress from New York, New York.

Ross Lynch & Laura Marano -"Friends for Change" Behind the Scenes - EXCLUSIVE

ClevverTV went behind the scenes with Ross Lynch and Laura Marano as they filmed their PSA's for Disney's Friends for Change.

Ross and Laura along with students and Disney VoluntEARS, helped plant 350 trees and educational gardens as part of Disney's $100,000 grant to help green school campuses and provide over 20,000 students across Los Angeles with the knowledge they need to do the same in their environments.

Laura Marano: Disney's New Star Talks Austin & Ally

Laura Marano is the young star of a new Disney series, Austin and Ally, which has been renewed for a second season. Laura says she has been singing and writing songs since she was very young. She says her songs when she was little were very long twenty minute songs about candy. Laura has also been acting since she was five, but she says her friends did not believe she was actress until the Austin and Ally series arrived on the Disney Channel. Laura also says she does not suffer from terrible stage fright like her character, Ally Dawson.

Today, I’m excited to give you a first look at the new Disney’s Friends for Change Ambassador spot, featuring Ross Lynch and Laura Marano from Disney Channel's Austin & Ally. The Disney stars joined TreePeople—a nonprofit dedicated to growing a sustainable future—to connect kids with nature and create green spaces at San Pedro Elementary School in Los Angeles.

More than 100 local students and Disney VoluntEARS planted 350 trees and gardens at the school. The project was made possible through a $100,000 grant from Disney that will also be used to liven up other campuses and educate more than 20,000 students across Los Angeles about how to green their homes and communities.

As part of Disney's commitment to protecting the planet for future generations, Friends for Change offers online tools and resources to help families connect with and conserve nature.
